The Senior GM shouted across the floor to call me to his office today. The thought of gettin fired on my 3rd day at work crossed my mind while i was walkin to his office. & when i entered...he told me to close the door & sit down.

Do you know why i called you here?

I gave him an honest NO paired with a puzzled look. He then told me with a very stern face...

I called you in to relax & have a cup of coffee!!

By then he broke into a wide grin & talked about my first 3 days at work so far. *phew*

Chauffeured-driven Princess no more

In the past 2 weeks, I got a job with a large conglomerate & I got a car.

Yes, that’s the end of my very short lived unemployment status ( i start this coming Monday)….& yes, you read correctly…I got a car…it has 4 wheels and it moves…& I must add it’s a stick shift!

Today I drove…it rained…God must have been so touched “She” cried. As I drove around my area at 40km/h ( I was adhering to the speedlimit…& give me a break…the last time I drove was during my driving test, nearly 7 years ago!)…my mum exclaimed…

My Dad called to ask if I needed anything from the hardware store yesterday. I happily chirped…

Buy a steering lock for my car.

I never found the perfect cupcake since my last craving for one....& now Mel has got me goin gila again with those EVIL looking yummy cupcakes on her blog!!! Now i feel like goin back to Kiasuland just to order some.
