Midnight Cravings

I was looking up some stuff last night and I came across a picture of a really cute cake. That's it man, I got super distracted...I started looking up pictures of yummy cakes...damn those cakes look so yummy...all that icing...

Eventually, the pictures got the better of me and I started craving like a bloody pregnant woman for sweet stuff. & since it was bloody 3am, I was no where near to getting any of it...I decided make others suffer too...muahahaha..i'm E-V-I-L...i spread the cravings to Jason. That got the ball rolling...I sent him those yummy cake pics & then started talking bout those yummy sweet, bright coloured Dunkin Donuts...

But guess what that punk of a Jason did, he went and made himself a tuna sandwich to apparently satisfy his cravings. WTF??!! How the heck does a tuna sandwich satisfy cravings for yummy Dunkin donuts? That's like eating an onion to satisfy your craving for a steak!!

To lazy to fight with tuna boy, so I went to kacau Rajes instead. Hehehhee Rajes was easy...

A lil "Friendship" note...

Dear all,

I would like to start by "thanking" all who have recently mailed me "Friendship mails" despite knowing F**KING well that Ashlin gets really F**KING annoyed with such rubbish. Just to remind all of you again, Ashlin gets even more annoyed when she checks her mail with hope to sincerely hear from her friends only to find her mailbox spammed to the brim with so called friendship mails.

In my opinion, these mails aren't a symbol of friendship...instead you are literally mailing out a curse.

You, *points accusing finger frantically* yeah i'm talking to you... don't agree with me??... oh then i guess where it states " if you don't resend this mail in 1 hour you will be ridden with ill luck for the next year" must sound pretty friendshippy to you!!

& yeah the "Happy Friendship Day" at the end of the mail just screams mockery of the whole friendship deal!!!

To end this note, i would like to wish all my friends... HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY, WEEK, YEAR...whatever.

i'm getting sick of my boring blog layout...& i'm dying to give it a makeover. Unfortunately Ashlin is an idiot when it comes to comp graphics...but Ashlin will learn to master photoshop..bla bla bla.

Jason told me to start small...trial & error...so i decided to mutate edit pictures.

& since Ian recently sent me a long overdued pic from his KL trip... i decided to start with this one & adding text to pics...

Battle against the E-V-I-L wake up call

Some of you know that Ashlin does not switch off her phone or put it on silent mode when she sleeps….for fear that she will miss some important or emergency call. Bad move considering I always get wrong numbers at ungodly hours (like what happened a couple of days ago) & considering I’m also not a very heavy sleeper, I am easily awaken by sms beeps.

BUT miraculously, my sleep managed to ignore all calls & messages this morning. YAY!!

Ellen called at 1049am…..ZZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzzz ( I slept at 5am, so sue me if I’m stil asleep at nearly 11am!!). muahahahaha. Her sms read “wake up! I need a shopping partner!”

I smugly replied at noon telling her my miraculous feat of battling her evil wake up call…only to get a reply from her telling me that she will try again tomorrow…this time EARLIER!!!

Ellen is evil evil evil!! Hmmm but then again, I wanna get another pair of 4 inch killer heels, bright pink toe socks, …..gaaaahhhhh NNoooooooo … Ashlin must battle all distractions & study study study!!

Just checked, i've got only 10 net hours left to last me another 15 days!! *horrors* i told myself thou shall not exceed my 60 hours again this month. It's an extremely hard challenge if you ask me...BUT, i have to resist the urge to waste time online...streamyx is evil evil evil!!!

Anyways, today i got a reminder e-mail from the library!!! First time in my life man....i've gotten pretty weird e-mails before...but this has to be my weirdest ever! hahaha

The Phone

NO this is not a post about some scary Asian horror flick (I don't watch those) ....instead; it's about the love of my life my phone. Now, I would have taken a pic of my "baby", but the only camera at my disposal is IN the damn friggin' phone & it's a bit too early in the morning to do some canggih mirror to mirror shot or something.

I love my phone to bits....considering my college-home-college state of NO LIFE, it's one of my only means of communication with my lovely friends which I can carry in my pocket ( the phone I meant!)...& since I don't have a laptop...psst...my birthday is coming up...I wouldn't mind a laptop.....or daaaarrrrrrrliiiinnnggggg.... a PDA phone would do just fine ...I know you're reading this :p

& unlike some people, I don't have the habit of switching off my phone when I sleep....which I should, considering I ALWAYS get calls at ungodly hours & when I say ungodly hours...i mean like 9AM (considering I sleep at 5am)....& this was what happened....

*phones rings*.barry white ringtone....i pry open one eye to see which idiot is calling....some weird number....i answered

Me : helloooooo

Caller : ah hello, I'm calling from Klinik Bahagia, your pills are ready for collection.

Me : WTF??!! Wrong number!!

Caller : ah are you sure?

Me : NO, I'm not sure & I'm some looney who needs pills...oh but wait a minute...the only pills I need are sleeping pills!!! (more like I wish I said that but NOOOO....I'm just too nice)...so I said... yes wrong number

Caller : Is this 012-61XXXXX? Madam Tan Ah Khiaw?

Me : correct number wrong person!!!

Caller : Are you sure sure?

Me : of course I'm sure SURE! *hangs up*

A family friend recently revealed that she had eyelift surgery done over her weekend trip to Penang. She told us that she was walking pass some shops after her Char Kuey Teow lunch & saw quite a few women walking in & out of one particular shop. Curious, she walked in too...thinking what could be so wrong in there considering so many women of all shapes, sizes & ages, decently dressed were going there too.

She stepped in, took a good look around at the old fashioned clinic looking interior & shrugged, "just another clinic", she thought. As she was about to turn around to exit, a women she assumed to be the busy nurse (considering the amount of ladies in there) hurriedly gave her a list & told her, "take a seat, I'll be right with you". She took a good look at the list ....

Rhinoplasty.........................$XXXX

Double eyelid.......................$XXXX

Toe nail implant.....(WHAT??!! I wasn't there to see the list & my imagination can only assume the things that were on the list :p)

Anyways, you get the drift. She said she wanted to laugh....but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw her reflection in a huge mirror when she looked up from the "menu". Took a deep breath & sat down to wait her turn!!!

"Madam Butterfly",the nurse called out. She walked into the doctor's office & sat down. The Julian McMahon lookalike doctor then asked, "Tell me what you don't like about yourself?"....OK! OK the last 3 lines were made up, she didn't elaborate on what happened in there & I've watched too much Nip/Tuck. Bottom line is, she scheduled for her 1 1/2 hour surgery for the next morning.

I'm not a big fan of pain although I've always wanted a tattoo..... & NO I wasn't thinking of a tiger on my bum. Anyways, the amount of pain we women go through for the sake of B-E-A-U-T-Y.....How does one agree to subject themselves to such torture? Maybe I'll be able to answer that when I've hit 55...for now, i say, NAaHhhhh....i love my fats & round nose! J

Btw, "Madam Butterfly" is now eyebrowless (she has to go get an eyebrow job once the wounds heal) & looks like she has had 10 Botox injections....no kidding!.i hope she looks fine after the swelling and all are gone.

Nish & I have been best friends since we were 11. Like any other best friends, we have had our share of ups and downs. I'm glad that our friendship has lasted this long, & yes like we always say....we'll stil be best friends even when were achy breaky ol women. HAPPY BIRTHDAY woman!! *hugs*
