I'm Knot Crazy

I'm loaded to the brim with work & yet procrastination gets the better of me....i never learn...tsk tsk tsk. I skipped class on friday telling myself that i will get some work done & then it happens again...i blame it on the renovations going on 2 doors away....the drilling, the hammering...bla bla bla....& the result, i finished one lousy chapter on corporate governance (which is quite an achievement at the rate i'm going!!) & i happily swithced on the computer to do some research...i ended up hooked onto my newly found hobby...Chinese Knots!!

Not like i have all the time in the world to pick up any time consuming, useless hobbies at the moment...but like i said..procrastination gets the better of me..& this time it comes in a form of an addictive, confusing yet satisfying hobby.....ARRRRGGGGHHHHH. Although, i must say...i now know how to make chinese buttons & those flower looking knots :)

Anyways, i had dinner with the guys (Adly, Wong, Ifran, Guang Ming, Neville, Illyaas & Rais) tonight. Celebrated Guang Ming's birthday in advance (1st Aug). As usual, we were the noisiest table. Drama-queen Wong (@TJ) screamed when Rais accidentally knocked a drink...got the whole place silent for a good 2 seconds & everyone staring our direction :p I really reckon Chilli's will kick us out one day or even worse, bar us from future visits, but til then let the fun continue...ahhahaaha.

We proceeded to Adly's place with Guang Ming's cake in tow, did the whole birthday sing-a-long, & ended up bummin in front of the tv watching How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days...yup, me watching one of my all time favourites with 7 huge guys!! hahahahaha...surprisingly they weren't complaining & didn't switch the channel til the movie ended....awwww how sweet.

Alrites, guys it was a good nite out. See ya all soonish...movie?

Ben, sorry i couldn't meet up tonite. Call ya later.

Who said the world was big?

Last night I went for the Mont Kiara Jazz Fest. Met friends of friends, we all ended up sitting together…& as the night went along, & the conversations & small talks flowing, we all started realizing that we were somehow related or linked in one way or another…it was like going through a Friendster connection list.

It was a good night of meeting new faces, talking & laughing amidst the loud & sometimes not so jazzy but good music.

& here’s part of the connection list for the night…

Brandon’s gf, Grace who’s cousin was my schoolmate in Hartamas & has a good friend who happens to be “someone’s” ex!! hahaha

Elaine….which they told me tries to murder her poor doggie….

Shi Ying a.k.a. Grambo…from Jason’s blog :p

Nick’s friend Grace(another Grace!!) who happens to be an ex-classmate of Wee (who happens to be my collegemate), whom she told bout the jazz fest & Wee in turn told me bout it…but lousy Wee was a no show in the end

Justin….i really pitied him, the whole night Grace2 & Nick was prepping him up for a big date & the “advice” they gave was hilarious!!!

Was nice meeting you ppl….Jazz fest again next week??

Mega sales started today…I covered nearly the whole 1 utama today & sadly all that caught my eye was not on sale & I was too broke to afford any of it :( it was pure torture!!!

I’m NOT evil!!!

I've been called "evil" by at least 6 people for an assortment of silly excuses this past few days...sigh. Here are a few of the "reasons" why i was deemed evil:

Matt called me evil cos I was having a headache & refused to go out with him.

The Ewok called me evil to make the number of ppl callin me evil an even number.

Jason said I had an evil look in this pic…

But Ian said I look like one of the Charmed Ones…I hope he didn’t mean the bitchy Shanon Doherty :(

& then someone called me evil for telling him off when in actual fact he pissed me off first!!

Sighhhh….why does everyone say I’m evil?? I’m a SAINT!!

& CONGRATS to the Ewok on your graduation!! You owe us dinner!!! :p

Rojak weekend

My neighbour's renovation is drivin me up the wall!!! they start drilling by 8AM & i have no where to run....GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. so i have been totally deprived of my beautiful sleep :(...it also gives me an excuse to not touch my books...this is SO bad...

To add to my misery, my throat has been acting up....BUT i've been concocting my own cure which consist of A&W's waffle with 2 scoops of ice-cream& syrup *slurps*, ample limau ais & more ice-cream(i had 30 bars of magnum in my freezer). You ppl must think i'm asking for trouble BUT from my experience, i'll cough even more when i order let's say milo panas instead of my usual limau ais!

Speaking of food, i tried out Muttu's (the one which took over Lotus Bangsar). The roti's are quite ok & comes with quite a good sambal, the nasi lemak looks a lil funny & Adlyn said the mee goreng isn't too bad. One thing tho, the fellas there are Indian nationals & are just starting to pick up the mamak lingo.....for example...if you want roti bawang, tell them roti onion...if u say "bungkus", they would understand it as "carry"....etc. Other than that, i think the layout of the place is a lil weird & uninviting...but i guess we'll have to give it some time.

Oh yeah, & i got dragged haunted house hunting by the ghost-seeking-nut of a Jason. He wanted to test if i could see "anything" around creepy Bukit Tunku. Sheesh!

Starlight Cinema ended last night with the LOTR trilogy....got free tix, but i didn't feel mad enough to go sit there for 9 1/2 hours!!! Instead, i went to Spicy's with Ben & Agi for nasi lemak ayam(& i'm wondering how come i keep putting on weight....sigh). & there were at least more than 100 Mat Motors "showing-off" their skills on their kapcais until the cops came. Oh,& for one, the Spicy's Kira-kira Psycho was no where to be seen....has he been deported??

i bought Ali Baba shoes...hehehehehe...went shopping in 1U with Nisha,Gaya,Nishal & Simone just now....we were talking & laughing bout our poor fates as young women being pressured to find decent better halves & settle down....we were so noisy, the whole Burger King was staring at us & i suddenly realised my aunt was at the next table!!!AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH :(

A Silent Prayer

A friend just called to relate news that a senior from highschool passed away from colon cancer. she was 24. I'm still shocked from the news. i never really knew her, but i remember her as one of the very few quiet seniors. Many years back, when i was back in Penang during Chinese New Year...i was in the car on the way to visit a relative...we stopped at a traffic light & this other car stopped beside us...& i saw her sitting at the back seat looking out too. we waved...i think that was the last time i saw her since she graduated from highschool...

Noise Pollution as my wake up call :(

2 of my neighbours decided to have a major renovation at the same time. & as much as i need my beauty sleep at this unGODly hour,i'm awaken NOT by the sounds of lil birds chiping...but by the "harmonious" sounds of drillings& the damn sledgehammer as if they were rite next to me...even ear plugs wouldn't help... oh well, i guess that's the sucky part bout living in a neighbourhood where your neighbours are filthy rich & have nothing better to do than to renovate their house to match their new outfit.

i've got 6 hours of classes later, that should help off set my lack of sleep..hehehe

Anyways, here's wishing Jason a Happy Birthday! May the FROGS be with you! hahahhahahhaha

Just dropped Ian off at KL Sentral. Pretty sad that his 2 weeks working trip down here is over & i probably won't see him for another 20 years. Was fun hanging out with him & taking him around KL... pretty much a case of a "tourist"(me) showing a tourist(Ian) around KL. Most of all, it was good that we know a bit more bout each other besides childhood memories of a Bully (Ian) & the Biter(me).

Ian, the "babysitter" bids u a safe flight.& mail me the pics!!!

I'm Rambling I'm Rambling

Okies,i've got so many random thoughts in my head now that i can't pin point on what i really wanna say rite now. So, if you have nothing better to do just read on.....i'm rambling...

Oh but before i make something like this sound confusing....EVERYBODY!!! guess who's through to the next round for Malaysia-International Fashion Awards?? Eleanor!!! Final 8 woman!!! CONGRATS! not only S'pore loves ur designs...we all love you too!!! *hugs*

Watched Kingdom Of Heaven last night at the starlight cinema...this time i got 6 free tix so i dragged Ian, Nisha,Jason& Nicklaus. the weather was good but the movie was pretty crap. Orlando Bloom can't act to save his life & what's with him & his war causing roles? in Troy, he got the girl & caused war....in Kingdom Of Heaven, he rejected the girl & caused war...sigh.

I just watched Drive Me Crazy on tv just now....hahahaha such a teeny bopper movie....all worried bout what everybody thinks, school politics...prom...bla bla bla....but then again, how diff is it from adult life i wonder??from high school politics to college balls to worrying what your boss thinks of you....the older we get, the more "matured" our thinking gets, but like it or not, i still think most of us are stuck in a world of pretence. Most people go around trying to exude a character which they want people to believe they are. But the question is, is that who they really are?is that who they really want to be? are they happier acting out their character? & then the "actors" stereotype the rest of the REAL people...

Then again, what's there left which is real in this world? sigh....ignore me....i'm drunk....i would have written a poem but then again i think my words are more confusing than poems...

Back to School Syndrome

First day back at college today…technically yesterday. & what was supposed to be a 3 hour class turned into a double session….meaning 6 hours….& of the same subject!!! Already feeling miserable enough that I only had 4 hours of sleep & I had to attend a 8-freakin-AM class, the lecture hall was so packed some of us had to sit on the steps!!

Needless to say, I was dozing off throughout the 6 hours despite Mr. Marcus’ sense of humour. By the time my class ended at 230, I was pretty much awake…boo hoo. I konked out after dinner only to be awaken by Brandon’s call at 11pm to confirm tomorrow’s timetable….& now I’m wide awake. :(

Another 8am class again tomorrow (more like...in a few hours time), & Mr. Michael had better not turn it into another double session class!!!

Anyways,Happy belated Birthday MUSLE (3rd July)!! & dude, I DON’T owe u a butt massage!!! But u owe me dinner!!

& Happy belated Birthday IVAN (4th July)!!!... Mr. Marcus’ 6 hour class spoilt plans to join u guys for lunch; sorry….but not like you’ll miss mine & KJ’s company anyway! Btw, u owe me an EP for promoting EOF “internationally”.

I meant to blog about taking Ian around KL, but I guess I’ll photo blog it when I get the pics from him…. & Nick, I updated :p
